About Me.

I believe stories are crucial to how we maneuver spaces through life. Each person, relationship, and family has been influenced by a story unique to the self. Our daily interactions and relationships are influenced by how we make sense of and live with these stories.

My story, perhaps similar to yours, has changed over time and has had several plot twists. I am a Gay, Fat,  Cis-Male of color (Mexican, Black & White). My various identities and the stories accompanying them have significantly shaped my life.  For a long time, I felt out of place in my body; I struggled to meet society's visual standards. Internally I felt like I wasn't meeting the cultural expectations of my family. And sexually, I felt as if I had missed the mark. On top of that, I couldn't find the necessary support to explore my discomfort. It took me time to discover and embrace the many identities that are a part of me and make me unique. My story has led me to support others in ways I wish were available to me growing up. If you sometimes feel alone and lost in this world, you've come to the right place to explore your experience and found the right person to do it with.

Sometimes it can be challenging to open up to others and uncomfortable talking about yourself, your emotions, or your thoughts. Therapy should be about feeling comfortable to open up without fearing repercussions and judgment. Humans are trained not to talk about intimacy, sexual desire, kinks, and relationships with others. I say, let's break down those barriers and talk about them.  We can explore conversations otherwise seen as "taboo" because no conversation is off the table.

It is SO important to understand ourselves, where we came from and how that influences our relationships. When multiple peoples come together, the individual selves can sometimes clash. That clash can lead to communication breakdown, a lack of intimacy, and loneliness. Sometimes it can feel impossible to get back from that. I can help you and your partner(s) find the balance that meets your relationship's needs.

My purpose is to create a safe space to explore yourself and your relationships. I'm here to listen, support, and join you on an exploration so you won't have to go through life's hardships alone.
