Welcome to
Rebel Heart Therapy
Individual and relational therapy for Portland’s black sheep and unicorns.
THERAPY SHOULDN’T CAUSE MORE HARM
At Rebel Heart Therapy, we provide psychotherapy and relational counseling for people who think, live, and love outside the box by clinicians who do the same. We work with clients who identify as LGBTQIA+, poly, kinky, quirky, sex workers, burners, gamers, geeks, artists, weirdos, black sheep, unicorns, and generally anyone who colors outside the lines.
A clinician with racist, sexist, fatphobic, transphobic, or homophobic beliefs may project them onto their patient, leading to further trauma and distress. Similarly, clinicians not trained in working with individuals from marginalized communities may not have the knowledge or expertise necessary to provide effective treatment. We offer therapy (individual, relational, family, and group) in an affirming, stigma-free environment where mental health care is self-care.
