Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor

About Me.

Hi, I’m Irene (she/her)! I am a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, people navigating the complexities of sobriety, and those seeking a deeper understanding of their identity in an ever-evolving world. My journey into therapy began with a desire to make a lasting impact in the lives of LGBTQIA+ individuals and those facing substance-related challenges, promoting resilience and self-acceptance; this passion has only grown stronger over the years.

Perhaps you're navigating the beautiful yet often challenging journey of coming out, exploring your gender and sexuality, or finding your place after grappling with substance use. These paths can be winding and daunting, but you're not alone. My expertise as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC), combined with my deeply personal understanding of the LGBTQIA+ journey, positions me uniquely to stand with you as a beacon of hope, compassion, and strength.

Questions may be clouding your heart and mind:

Who am I when the reflection seems unfamiliar?

How can I embrace and nurture my body when all I want is for it to change?

In a world striving for conformity, can I ever truly be me?

Will love and trust ever grace my life again despite past betrayals?

Every question, every doubt, every fear – they find a listening ear and a compassionate heart in me. Together, we will work towards embracing your true self, mending relationships, and reclaiming your life with purpose and joy.

Outside the therapy space, my spirit finds solace in the breathtaking landscapes of Oregon, from light hikes to kayaking adventures. With a love for games, humor, and the vibrant drag culture, I'm an East Coast soul with a penchant for advocacy, creativity, and connection.
